Katie Arabio
My name is Kaitlyn Arabio, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University. I am currently a first year M.A student studying psychology, with a focus in cognition. My research interests broadly focus on the relationship between physical activity and autonomic nervous system functioning. In particular, I am interested in investigating how somatic exercises compare to traditional physical activity, and examining whether somatic exercises may differentially influence parasympathetic nervous system activity and vagal regulation. Beyond research, I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, painting and playing with my cat!
