Anamarie Oprea
I am an undergraduate research assistant studying Psychology and Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics. Currently I’m a senior planning to pursue a doctoral program post graduation in either Clinical Psychology or Industrial Psychology. As a career I plan to be involved in industry and academia, engaging in research and applying it to industries to make employers and leaders more efficient and satisfied.
My research interests center around integrating personality and individual differences in various fields in psychology to make research more curated for different individuals. Specifically as it relates to mental health disorders and how they affect one’s intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. Additionally, I also enjoy psychometric examinations and how they can be used to find optimal job fit at a company, thus increasing productivity. I enjoy blending social psychology into various applications, and working with statistical models to answer relevant psychological questions. Outside of research and academics, I enjoy singing, traveling, ice skating, and debating.
